Had looked back to see if my buddy Kevin made it through the intersection and I went off the shoulder, slipped in some gravel and hit the ground. What an idiot! On a flight yesterday the lady across the aisle from me grabbed her bag from the overhead bin, swung around and hit it me right on my bruised shoulder. =(<BR/><BR/>Thanks for the heads up info on the ride. I'll start training on hills for the next week or so just in case.Carle Aldretehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052349441709323063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6732625668851908197.post-76985377703137748352009-02-22T11:38:00.000-08:002009-02-22T11:38:00.000-08:00Good luck at the Pedal thru the Pines, it's a grea...Good luck at the Pedal thru the Pines, it's a great ride, one of my favorites. Be ready to climb, the section at the start through the state parks is very hilly. Last year when I did it there were quite a few riders falling over, it was the darnedest thing they couldn't get unclipped and lost their momentum and just fell right over.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
